Taking my pet over seas!!?

Hi, i have a eight month old puppy, he is a yorkie… we have to go away to syria for the summer and we couldnt find any 1 to take care of him…so we decided to take him with us put the flight is pretty long, and were not sure the air travel people in syria will let us bring him back! HELP!!!!…….does any one have any suggestions… do you think we can bring him back to the US?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have researched alot and if the dog is less than 10 puonds than you can take it on the airplane but im
still not sure!

im a photographer and cause of that i should take my 11 month dog with my self in my trips in planty countries i took him but for syria your not allowed
